This webinar will critically examine how Christians around the world are responding to the enduring legacies and current realities of the American empire. From military intervention to economic coercion and cultural dominance, America's influence continues to shape lives far beyond its borders.
This conversation will address theological, political, and popular responses to empire, highlighting resistance, solidarity, and alternative visions rooted in Christian witness.
Winter Living Theology – June and July 2025
This year, the Winter Living Theology conference series will take place in June and July 2025. It will consist of a three-day series of conferences, as well as short morning and afternoon lectures, given by Fr. Carlos Mendoza-Álvarez OP.
Father Mendoza-Álvarez will present the three-day series in Durban, Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Gqeberha. He will also visit Manzini, Eswatini.
